Loctite Superflex Black High Temp
Features
Black RTV silicone that resists weathering, thermal cycling, shrinking or cracking.
- One-component RTV, adhesive sealant, and high-temperature gasketing compound
- Black, viscous, non-sag, low volatile product which emits small amounts of acetic acid during cure to an elastomeric rubber
- Bonds most substrates including silicone rubber
- Gasket dressing and sealant to upgrade conventional metal and specialty pre-cut gaskets
- Formed-in-place gasket to replace preformed gaskets
- Seals and encapsulates heating elements in electrical appliances
- Sealant and adhesive for assembly and repair of industrial furnaces, boilers, exhaust stocks, and high temperature ducting
- Fills gaps to 6mm
- Temperature range: -70°C to +315°C
Applications
- For valve covers, sumps, intake manifold end seals, timing covers, water pumps, and thermostat housings
- Suitable for sealing of joints where resistance to high thermal cycling is required
